All GP surgeries in England must provide a certain amount of appointments outside of our core opening hours, under a scheme known as Enhanced Access. This scheme is designed to serve urgent same-day issues, as well as those that can't come in during our usual hours. Our Enhanced Access hours are 5pm-8pm on weekdays, and 9am-1pm on Saturdays.
We offer the majority of our Enhanced Access appointments alongside our fellow network surgeries at East Way Clinic. From that site, we offer GP and nurse appointments, physiotherapy, vaccination clinics, NHS Health Checks, peer support groups, and more.
Our East Way vaccination clinics run most Saturdays, with each clinic offering a shingles, pneumococcal, or RSV vaccination. Patients will be invited to receive vaccinations when they become eligible for them. You can check which NHS vaccines you're eligible for on the NHS website here.
You can request an Enhanced Access appointment if you would struggle to make our core opening hours. Please be aware this may sometimes lead to a longer wait for your appointment.
