SURGERY UPDATE IN RELATION TO CORONAVIRUS
Posted on 16 Mar 2020
To all our patients.
We are currently stopping our GP face to face routine appointments at the surgery. If you already have an appointment booked, you will have received either a text or email advising that this appointment has now been converted to the GP telephoning you. If the GP still needs to see you, they will arrange an appropriate time for you to come into the surgery that day.
If you telephone the surgery to book a future appointment, at present you will be advised that this will be a telephone call and you are not to attend the surgery, once the GP has spoken with you if they need to see you they will arrange an appropriate time for you to come into the surgery that day.
PRACTICE NURSES APPOINTMENTS
For patients who have booked an appointment with our Practice Nurses, if you have NO symptoms of a cough, fever of over 37.8, travelled to any of the high-risk areas (category 1) or been in known contact then our nurses are happy for you to attend the surgery. If you are unsure then please DO NOT attend the surgery, please cancel your appointment and re-book at a later date. Patients who have blood tests booked which are non-urgent are being asked to re-book.
Patients will be managed according to clinical need whilst minimising the risk of contracting or spreading coronavirus.
